Poll: Should councils fund de-sexing of stray cats?

Nicola Brennan-Tupara Reporter from Taupō Times

Hi Neighbours,
Hamilton City Council has a $100,000 plan to stop stray moggies from breeding.
City councillors voted for an annual grant to de-sex stray or abandoned cats around the city.
It has won praise from SPCA chief executive Andrea Midgen: "It's a real top of the cliff strategic move by the Hamilton City Council - it's just amazing."

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
