Council building and Taupo Museum options
A public presentation meeting was held tonight for consultation on the Council Administration Building and Taupo Museum.
Four options have been offered for the new council building:
-Option 1: Long-term lease
-Option 2: 72 Lake Terrace (the former council building site)
-Option 3: Tuwharetoa Street carpark
3(i): with 80 in-berm car parks
3 (ii): with two levels of underground car parking
-Option 4: Tongariro Domain
And two options for the Taupo Museum.
-Option 1: Do not build a new museum
-Option 2: Build a new museum
