Nominations close for Turangi-Tongariro ward by-election
Nominations have closed for the Turangi-Tongariro ward by-election with three nominees for the council position and five for the community board.
Maggie Stewart, David Te Takinga New and Chris Te Whare have been nominated for the council seat left vacant by the resignation of Zane Cozens while Cristina Duff, Clint Green, Pauline Jenkins-Lyons, Gus Kleingeld and John Rangituehu Tapara have been nominated for the community board position left vacant after the resignation of Sally Nelson.
