Hi Neighbors, I have recently moved to 27 Lomond Grove, Acacia Bay (mid June). At 6am yesterday my black, fluffy cat went outside and has not returned today one day later.

Hi Neighbors, I have recently moved to 27 Lomond Grove, Acacia Bay (mid June). At 6am yesterday my black, fluffy cat went outside and has not returned today one day later.

He never usually stays out for longer than 30 minutes so I knew yesterday that something had happened to him.

His name is Ninja, he is part maincoon and 9 kg. Hes beautiful and intelligent.

Can you please check your garages, cupboards any small areas. I would be very greatful hes very much missed by us.

To make the excuse that is was an act of nature is rubbish. It's an act of poor design!!
Get these pipes moved away from the Lake and stop Taupo District Council from polluting our pristine Lake!!!!

Huge boost to Taupō District from Provincial Growth Fund

Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones yesterday announced two significant Provincial Growth Fund investments into entrepreneurial geothermal businesses in the Taupō District.

Geo40, a Taupō-based company employing 19 people, was awarded $15 million in funding. Geo40 has developed the technology to build and operate the world’s first commercial demonstration plant to extract silica from the geothermal fluid used for power generation, after which the geothermal fluid is reinjected back into the underground geothermal reservoir.

Taupō District Mayor David Trewavas said he was thrilled that Geo40 has been able to secure Provincial Growth Fund support.

The "feebate" scheme wouldn't cost the taxpayer anything, instead using money gained by putting a fee on imported high-emissions cars in order to make imported hybrids, electric cars, and other efficient vehicles cheaper with a subsidy.
