Help us care for our rescued kitties!
Hi Taupo
We need your support to provide kitty litter and wet kitten food for the little ones. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as these will be fostered for at least next four weeks.
Mum (likely less than 12 months old) was likely dumped, not desexed, and pregnant again - a sad reminder of why trapping efforts are crucial. And unfortunately this is a problem in the wider Taupo district, rescue shelters are overrun and cannot assist, takes a community to assist and get behind these efforts. These guys were found in built up residential area, wild and kittens never been touched by humans (slightly feisty).
Donations can be dropped to address 31 Noble Street, Nukuhau or 3 Kahikatea Drive, Kinloch.
Thank you for your support!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
