Music in the Gardens - Sunday 12 March - 11am to 3pm
Reminder - Waipahihi Botanical Gardens annual Music in the Gardens day. Bring family, friends and a picnic, and listen and watch some regular favourites - Taupo Brass Band, Taupo Concert Band, A Flourish of Flutes, Blended Brass Quintet, Agin' Cajuns, Basestep Dancers, the Whooppee! Band, bagpipes.
And some really special newcomers - the Tokelau Community Cultural Group, Andy and his Japanese drum, The Great Lake Dancers. Greening Taupo will have some nature activities for children. Don't be late! Don't miss anything!
Roadworks on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri
From 7 to 18 December, there will be night-time closures on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri (Sundays to Thursdays, 9pm to 5am) to carry out wire rope barrier maintenance. Please expect delays when travelling through this area.
