Post Covid-19 Tourism Planning

Chris Marshall Reporter from Taupō Times

Minister of Tourism Kelvin Davis is predicting changes to how tourism will operate post-Covid 19.
Moves to develop a plan for the sector were today announced by Davis who said he expected to receive advice on the work in the next couple of weeks.
“A post-Covid tourism industry will play an important role in New Zealand’s economic recovery, but it will be different to the one that we are accustomed to. There will be new challenges, new opportunities and a new way of working,” Davis said.
