Due to changes to the course this year, Spa Road and Napier Road will be open. This means the best way to get around the closed area will be via the ETA and Centennial Drive / Spa Road or Napier Road. Note Broadlands Road and the ETA off-ramp at Broadlands Road will be closed until 1pm Saturday, while our Landfill and Transfer Station on Broadlands Road will open at the later time of 1.30pm Saturday.
Over the next few days please take extra care on the roads, keep an eye out for cyclists and runners and on the day of the event make sure you look out for signage and detours to help you get around safely. Thanks everybody!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
