Hampton Downs weekend car shows continue this Sunday with the second edition of Caffeine & Gasoline, A gathering of enthusiast car owners and their cars. It’s free to attend and there’s plenty of parking. Come check out the cars and grab a coffee and brunch from our new Café. There is also $20 off Go Karts and this fantastic opportunity to catch a motorsport event for next to nothing!

Promoting a special offer! If you want to watch all the on-track action you can get in for just $10 per car load of people, yes! You heard right. get your mates to pile into your car, rock up to gate 2 (on the road leading to the infield) and show them a screenshot of this post. $10 only!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
