Tell us how to improve the riverside near Rangiora and Ashley
We want your feedback on how we could improve an area we call the Rangiora Reach that includes both banks of the Ashley River/Rakahuri to the north of the Rangiora racetrack and Millton Memorial Reserve.
Please join us for a one-hour online community meeting on Thursday 7 April at 1.30pm or 6.30pm. Sign up https://ecan.govt.nz/rangiora-reach
You can also complete a short survey and tell us your ideas.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
