A reminder, the RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET will be on this Sunday, 19th May, 9 am to 2 pm at the BLAKE STREET CAR PARK. Lots of great bargains for all from household items, plants, health products, garden tools, hand tools, clothing, bikes, winter hats, wood craft, jewelry, kindling wood, etc etc. Don't forget the great coffee and food at FOOLS OF DESIRE at the market end of Conway Lane. ALSO, for the children in our club rooms beside the market, THOMAS AND FRIENDS for the children to operate, and RANGI our friend of THOMAS that children can sit in and have their photo taken.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
