We would like to know if anyone knows of any produce or markets or milk etc that would have left overs Etc . We are wanting to use as much produce left overs to balance and vary their diets. We are keen to find a run or even vege left overs from people who would donate to our pigs. We are in Swannanoa but I travel every day to Chch to work . And can collect . I'm sure there can be some sort of payment or barter system. They will be free ranging our paddocks to allow them to graze also. We are very keen to hear from anyone who could assist . Many thanks for reading our next adventure.

We want to look into the commuting issue between North Canterbury and the city, what are the big issues, what the solutions and what ways around it are there?
As part of this, we're hoping to talk to somebody who lives in North Canterbury and has managed to avoid the trials of the daily commute into Christchurch through flexible work hours or working from home using phone conferences etc.
If you'd be happy to talk to Matthew Salmons' smiling face (also: notepad, camera and other journalistic tools) drop a line to: matthew.salmons@fairfaxmedia.co.nz.
