Picton to Blenheim bus trial set to begin
A bus service trial between Blenheim and Picton will begin on Tuesday 6 August.
The off-peak service will start and finish in Waikawa, and will provide two return services on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm.
There will be designated stops between Picton and Blenheim. Within Picton and Waikawa the bus will operate as a hail and ride service meaning passengers will need to wave the bus down.
Maps and timetables showing the bus stops along the route will be available on Council’s website next week. Hard copies will also be available at Council offices.
