Further to my suggestion on the Wiskas sachets, if you are spring cleaning your freezer you may like to remember SPCA when discarding meat products that may still be suitable for animal consumption. They are always on the look out for blankets and towels to keep small animals warm too. Such an easy way do do a little good in our community.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
