Funding for theatre
The Government has come to the party and announced funding to finish the ASB Theatre, in Blenheim.
Kaikoura MP Stuart Smith made the announcement on Thursday: to provide $900,000 from the Regional Culture and Heritage Fund.
The Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust will use the money to finish the smaller Anderson Theatre, the last piece of the multimillion-dollar building yet to be completed.
Vice chairman Peter Mark said designs still had to be completed and the project put out to tender, but said he hoped it would be finished by March or April next year.

Good to see that pain relief is now part of the process as well.
