Volunteers needed next week to help us raise some money!
We have been asked to help Bike Walk Marlborough do a walking and cycling count. For doing so, we will receive $1000, which will make a huge difference to us! It would require a couple of hours of your time next week if possible, either from 7am - 9am or 4.30pm-6pm. It's only done on a nice day, so you won't have to stand in the rain.
We'll give you a cuppa and a bikkie or 2 for your trouble! (aren't we generous?! lol)

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
