Reading group at Warkworth Library
The group is a branch of the wonderful organisation Reading Revolution NZ thereadingrevolution.org...
We meet every couple of weeks to read a short story and a poem brought along by a member of the group. We meet at the Warkworth Library from 10 to 11.30 on alternate Wednesdays (next meetings 12 June, 26 June etc). We are particularly keen to bring in people who have migrated to NZ recently and who would like to meet locals who are keen on reading. Anyone interested is welcome just to turn up or email the coordinator Linda Pattullo at lindapattullo@gmail.com
Poll: 🗑️ Would you be keen to switch to a fortnightly rubbish collection, or do you prefer things as they are?
Aucklanders, our weekly rubbish collections are staying after councillors voted to scrap a proposed trial of fortnightly pick-ups.
We want to hear from you: would you be keen to switch to a fortnightly rubbish collection, or do you prefer things as they are?
