Plant/Tree Identification help please?
Hi Neighbours
I have an awesome plant/tree which I really want to buy more of. Photos are attached. It has grown to about 1m or a little more, and has a umbrella-like weeping growth habit. The trunk is very woody like a tree. In one photo you can see a closer photo of the leaves; in the other photo you can see the whole plant and the foreground shows more green which is actually all flowing growth from the same plant.
A horitculturist friend of mine suggested it might be 'Acacia Sticky Wattle' (Acacia Howittii) which it really does look like, though it doesn't have yellow flowers at any time of year and the spread of my plant is greater than this. As a similar alternative I would have been happy to buy the Acacia Sticky Wattle, except I found that one plant costs around $1150!
Thanks fo much in advance.
