New reporter for north Auckland

Caroline Williams Reporter from Rodney Times

Hi neighbours, my name is Caroline and I'm going to be covering news in the Rodney area temporarily while our other reporter works on another project.

A bit about me: I moved to Auckland from Palmerston North to report for Stuff in 2018. I've spent most of my time at Stuff covering breaking news but also spent six months reporting solely for the Rodney Times.
I live in Albany and will split my time between there, Stuff's Ponsonby and Takapuna offices. I enjoy writing about crime, social issues and anything funny, weird or wacky.

If there is anything you think Stuff should be reporting on or investigating, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to message me via Neighbourly, Facebook (link below) or flick me an email at caroline.williams@stuff.co.nz

Dogs on beaches

Steve from Orewa

Amazing how many people dont follow Akl Council bylaw about dogs on beaches, in summer, not allowed on beaches between 10am and 5pm.
Also people allowing their dogs on kids playgrounds.
Surely anyone who owns dogs could be expected to have an understanding of the rules.. and follow them.
Would also be good if dog owners picked up their dog crap off Orewa Beach

Are you keeping it old school?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

We know that things come back around, look at vinyl records!

Do you still use any old-school technology (like landlines or VHS tapes) at home?

Let us know in the comments.
