Anton Heyns is a Barrister and Solicitor of some 30 years standing, currently employed by the New Zealand Police as a senior prosecutor. He has also been a lay preacher for many years. A particular area of interest for Anton is the role of Israel in biblical history and biblical prophecy, especially as to how these play out in current and future events in the land of Israel and on the world stage. This emphasis has Anton on the staff as a minister for Celebrate Messiah New Zealand, an organisation with a special focus on Jewish evangelism. Come and hear Anton look at Jerusalem in the light of history, current events and future expectations. What is it that makes this little city, with a population of about 900,000 surely the most contended over, volatile and explosive place on earth?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
