Amputee catch-up

Leslie from Foxton

Hi.
I am an Amputee who lives in Foxton (left arm). I am also a peer support worker for the limb service. I am trying to start a meet and greet for amputees and partners/caregivers/family to share tips and tricks as well as share your story with likeminded people. I have approached the local library and they will provide us with and accessible private space to chat on as regular a basis we as a group would like to meet. If u are interested please reply to this post or email me and i will set it up. I look forward to meeting you.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
