Swap: 2 residential sections for rural land.

Josien from Foxton Beach

Just received approval from the council for the subdivision and looking for options.

Coming up:
2 residential sections on quiet street in Foxton Beach, 330sqm each.

Close to supermarket and whitebait creek. Boating club at walking distance if you want to go for a stroll.

Will have minimal covenants, relocatable, prefab homes will be fine.

(A third, larger, back section might become available in a later stage.)

Wanting to swap for:
5+ acres rural land or lifestyle on quiet, but not remote, location, with access to permanent forestry suitable for horse riding. Free-draining soil with about 5 acres mow-able by ride-on mower. Need to be able to grow some grass, but not looking for dairy quality. Some mature trees very much appreciated. Not planning to go off-grid, so will need power and good internet speed (wireless is fine).

Close to Foxton preferred, between Bulls and Kapiti considered.

Alternatively: if you are looking for a similar rural block contact me. Maybe we can buy something bigger together.

Note: Not interested in selling until I have found a new place myself.

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.

While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.

And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?
