The Christmas Avenue of Trees

Harvey Bowler Funeral Services

We have 60+ decorated trees this year and the Levin Salvation Army Worship Centre is certainly looking very sparkly and glittering with lights. The trees will be open to the public this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 6pm until 8.30pm . Come and wander through The Avenue of Trees, listen to the Salvation Army Band, let the kids do the quizz, and see what a talented and clever community we live in. There is a vast variety of decorations and every tree is different!. On Sunday night there is Carols in the Car park from 7pm.
Entry is either a gold coin donation or an item of food, a cleaning product or toiletry to go to the Interchurch foodbank.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
