I will be without a home by 3rd week of March because the place where I live has been sold due to ill health of my landlord.
Last year I moved 3 times, so like to see myself in a more permanent place that also welcomes dog, cats and ideally has a place for one 21- year old horse.
In the meantime I am also considering travelling to see more of New Zealand as I have not seen very much of the beautiful places that my overseas visitors told me about.
So turning into a nice experience this time, I like to travel in my van, while offering my services doing house-sitting, WWOFF-ing/HelpX-ing for a while.
But like to have a base to come back to for the time being.
I am open to relocating, so if you have something that would be suitable and is animal friendly, or know of somewhere or someone who would like to do a house-share or needs a helping hand around the place?
I come with Dasha, a very friendly Briard who has grown up on a life-style block and is used to other animals around. We both have a lot of experience looking after animals in case you need a helping hand.

Canterbury has been named the fifth most welcoming region in the world in the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards, while Oamaru, Hokitika and Invercargill have been named the most welcoming towns in NZ. They were followed by Cambridge, Picton, Lake Tekapo, Kerikeri, Palmerston North, Paihia and Twizel.
We'd be really keen to hear your thoughts on this based on your own travels around New Zealand. Do you think Canterbury is NZ's most welcoming region? And are these our most welcoming towns?
Where in NZ have you been made to feel particularly welcome on your travels?
As usual, please put 'NFP' in your comment if you don't want it to be included in an article. Cheers.
