HAVE YOU MADE YOUR WILL YET?

Jill Smith from Citizens Advice Bureau Far North (CAB)

We get to see the end result of the anguish families suffer when they discover a loved one hasn't made a will. It not only adds another stress layer to the grieving process, but it can often turn out personally and financially costly for those left to pick up the pieces.

Making a will need not be complicated or costly. This link provides information on how to go about it -www.cab.org.nz...

This link sets out the more complicated process when someone dies without making a will, which is why we urge you to make a will - www.cab.org.nz...

When attending to your will, we suggest you explore some affordable funeral options and discuss them with your family. This link has some useful information - www.cab.org.nz...

While our trained volunteers cannot draw up your will, we can provide information to help get you started. Give us a call on 09 407 9829 or 0800 367 222. Email us at farnorth@cab.org.nz or pop in and see us at 6 Cobham Road, Procter Library Building, Kerikeri.

We are open Monday to Thursday 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and Friday 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m."

Please share this information with your family & friends.

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
