Streetstock Grand Prix
Tonight and Saturday night. Take a regular Road car, install a roll cage and some safety features and you have a Streetstock. Put them on a speedway track and let them legally hit each other and you have the very entertaining Streetstock Racing. Starts 7pm, Paradise Valley Raceway.
Rotorua A&P Show
Head along to the show this Saturday and Sunday for loads of fun. 141 Western Rd, Ngongotaha. There's something for everyone so bring the family for a great two days of fun.
Ecomist Blue Lake Multisport Festival
This saturday and Sunday. Five different swimming events, including a kids triathlon, will be held on the lake on Saturday and Sunday. Find out more on the RATS - Rotorua Association of Triathlon & Multisport Facebook page.
Rotorua Summer Seafood Festival
This Saturday at the Soundshell and Village Green, Memorial Dr. Indulge in the variety of delicious seafood on offer paired with a glass of exquisite New Zealand wine. There's also an exciting line-up of local musical talent and relax beside the stunning Lake Rotorua.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
