Charity Garage Sale
Age Concern are lucky to be the recipients of the up-coming Charity Garage Sale hosted by Ray White Real Estate and held at the Ngongotaha Railway Park on Saturday 1st May from 8:00 am. Since the original Charity Garage Sale before Level 4 Lockdown most Charities have made good money and over $30,000 has been raised. A huge thanks must go out to Tim O'Sullivan and his team, not only for their generous support of Charities but also the time and effort put into each event. If you would like to donate something big or small please just drop it off at 5 Tarewa Place or phone 07 347 1539 to have it picked up.

Suellen’s sweet Christmas tradition
The festive season is always a great excuse to indulge your sweet tooth, and this time of year poses the perfect opportunity to bring a real showstopper to the Christmas table.
For Suellen’s family, that showstopper is Croquembouche, an impressive tower of cream puffs bound together with spun sugar that is popular at weddings in France and Italy.
What began as a birthday treat at a local French café has become a cherished Christmas tradition for Suellen and her 17-year-old twin granddaughters, Ellie and Sadie. Every year, the trio gather in Suellen’s apartment at William Sanders Village to cook this festive dessert - a holiday highlight they all treasure.
