Great beer key to Brew's appeal
Having good beer as your pub's USP – unique selling point – might seem rather obvious.
But back in 2011, however, it was almost a novelty.
When Brew Craft Beer Pub opened its doors in Rotorua, the domination of bland offerings from the country's two major brewers, Lion Nathan and DB, held sway in the majority of watering holes across New Zealand.
