Road Safety Week - are you a road safety hero?

The team from Rotorua Lakes Council

IT'S INTERNATIONAL ROAD SAFETY WEEK and we're on the look out for some #RoadSafetyHeros from Rotorua NZ!

If you or one of your friends, family or colleagues is a stickler for the road rules (in a good way), whether it's making sure you stop at a Stop sign or always wear your helmet when you're on your bike, then we want to hear from you!

PM us a pic of you in a Hero costume and tell us why you're a #RoadSafetyHero, and we'll add your pic to the template below to make you a #Hero in Rotorua.

There are some prize packs to be won for the most creative Hero pics, so get in quick before the end of the week!!!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
