Hello Rotorua neighbours - we're thinking of our friends in Edgecumbe as they recover from the effects of recent Cyclone Debbie. We'd like to invite you to be part of a special collection at our branch. The team at ColorShop Rotorua welcomes donations for the residents of Edgecumbe. If you have items you would like to donate - such as cans of food or other non-perishables, we will gladly ensure these make their way to our friends and neighbours in Edgecumbe. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
