Today's Mind-Bender: Think You’re Clever Enough?

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

Four cars come to a four-way stop, each coming from a different direction.
They can’t decide who got there first, so they all go forward at the same time.
All four cars go, but none crash into each other.
How is this possible?

Poll: Does grocery bagging affect where you shop?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

There's only a few differences between our larger chain supermarkets here in New Zealand. Having someone bag your groceries is one of them.

Does having your groceries packed for you at the checkout influence where you do your grocery shop? If so, tell us why.

HARAWENE Unveiling. This Wednesday 16th Oct

Ray from Owhata

Hi-de-hi neighbourly folks.
This coming Wednesday 16th October 2024 at 1pm the unveiling and blessing of Harawene MkII will be celebrated at her original statute site on TeNgae Rd, opposite McDonalds.
Thanks to the generosity of an Auckland man, Alan Cato, $10, 000 was donated by him to reproduce the Harawene statue to replace the one stolen about a year ago.
It's a shame the person or persons who stole the original haven't been caught....yet!
Fiona Cairns is the key person who has worked in with the sculpturer to create a new Harawene from the casts kept from the original, well done organisers.
Unfortunately our Mayor Tania Tapsell won't be able to be there as she has another engagement in Wellington. Fiona says Mr Mitchell will be there to officiate.
If anyone knows Kevin Coutts and or Steve Brown 'Brownie', please let them know as they were involved in looking after Harawene at the time and might like to be there too.

So PLEASE, come on out for the unveiling this Wednesday at 1pm and be part of the Owhata history.
When Harawene 'vanished' , I wrote a monologue dedicated to her, if you're interested you can go take a look and listen on this link in YouTube. www.youtube.com...
See you there
