10 acts of kindness to do this Random Acts of Kindness day
Have you held the door open for someone this year? Or paid for someone's coffee? If you haven't, this weekend is your chance to. Tomorrow people all over the country will be getting involved in spreading kindness on Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Here are ten things you can do on Random Acts of Kindness Day that will spread a bit of joy to others and make life that little bit easier.
1. Hold the door open for someone.
2. Pay for someone else's morning coffee.
3. Do some baking and drop it at a neighbour's house.
4. Pay for a stranger's parking
5. Take an extra minute of your day to chat with someone who needs it.
6. Send flowers to someone you love.
7. Give up your seat on busy public transport.
8. Donate groceries and clothes to charity.
9. Offer to help someone who needs it.
10. Smile.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
