The largest Pickleball Tournament in New Zealand possibly Australasia is being held in Rotorua this weekend and its FREE for spectators.

Over 100 Pickleball Players from around New Zealand are converging on the Rotorua Badminton Hall, Tarewa Place (park in the Kahakura Rugby Club Rooms or at the Aquatic Centre and walk through to the hall). Games start 9.00am both Saturday and Sunday with the finals being played on Sunday afternoon.
Pickleball, the game with a crazy name, started here in Rotorua over 4 years ago and has really started to take off, with around 45 centres popping up around the country from Kerikeri down to Invercargill.

It is a combination of Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis played on a Badminton sized court it can be played indoor or outdoor.
It is fun, is social, low impact and easy to learn. Come on down.
