National Volunteer Week celebrates the 1.2 million Kiwis who volunteer in our communities every year. The theme for 2018: Volunteers, The Heart of our Community – By many, the work will be completed, Mā tini, mā mano, ka rapa te whai, captures the essence of the volunteering spirit and the essential link between volunteers and the communities who benefit from their generosity. The event will run from June 17-23, 2018.

Everyone who works or owns a business in New Zealand pays levies. Your levy goes towards insuring and protecting your most important assets – you and your people.
Annual ACC invoices for businesses are sent out from 9 July and there’s a few things you need to know to make the process a whole lot easier.
If your details or circumstances have changed since last year, you can update these online. If you do this by 22 June, we can invoice you correctly.
Check out our guide to ACC levies and get it done online.

Our mayor and her councilers need to look at the people for once, you put up this rubbish at a huge cost and that should have been put into the struggling families and the homeless and the elderly not on rubbish like that. Our rates have trippled over the last thirteen years and it is getting impossible to keep your homes going. Has the mayor and her councillers for gotton what Rotorua is all about and the culture that is here people do not come to Rotorua to look at rubbish like that they want to follow the culture and that is in a museum that not been sorted yet, we are not a big city like Auckland etc we are a cultural place in the Bay Of Plenty. Get your act together and look after the people and stop charging us in the rates for all this rubbish and let us see our retirement out in our own house until we pass on not in the streets.
