In this issue we talk about the new Kiwi Access Card. It's a reliable form of ID for people who don't have a passport or driver licence.

We also celebrate six older New Zealanders who were recognised for their services to seniors as part of the New Year Honours List

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
