Music at the Rotunda 1pm Sunday 9 March 25 FREE concert

Julie from Springfield - Tihiotonga

It's looking like another beautiful sunny Sunday this week. Haven't we been spoiled so far! We've had a fabulous run of great entertainment in our beautiful band rotunda in the Government Gardens. This weekend we have the amazing dulcet tones of Rewa Ututaonga. Unfortunately, Bobby Howard is under the weather with a cold so we are still juggling performers for the 2pm spot.
Stone Soup real fruit ice-cream van will be there this weekend along with The Lil Yellow Coffee cart, which is equipped with a real high pressure coffee machine.

Bring a picnic or buy something from our supporting vendors, bring your lawn chair and we wouldn't say no to a koha/donation to help keep things running.

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
