CLOTHES SWAP
Madison Blues Marching is holding a fundraising Clothes Swap 20th October at Westbrook Primary School Hall 11am - 3pm. All welcome. $5 entry - Bring your own bag and any clothing, shoes, bags, accessories etc that you no longer want (all items to be clean and in good condition) and find yourself some new secondhand gear to take away.
Be sure and bring extra cash for raffles, homemade baking and homemade soap (great for xmas gifts).
All money raised goes towards travel expenses to attend competitions.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
