Hi everyone!
Coffee Cheese n’ Crackers is back this Friday for our first meeting of the year! Join us at Linton Park Community Centre between 6pm and 7:30 for coffee and a chat with other locals for support with whatever is bothering you. Maybe The holiday festivities have drained you emotionally and financially. Or maybe you’re just a little over waiting for the kids to get back to school. Whatever it is, come on down to experience true support from others in similar situations. And of course, the cheese and crackers are on the house!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
