New Taekwon Do Beginners Class

Richard from Halcombe

New beginners classes starting 18th of February 6.30pm - 8.00pm. Tuesday & Thursday at Manchester Primary School, Manchester St Feilding.

Come and have a go at Taekwon -Do, a Korean Martial Art that used to be known a long time ago as Korean Karate. We are a small group with lots of experience, here to develop a school for the older student using traditional technique.
We are the first school in New Zealand to focus on the over 30 year olds, we have a laugh, don’t take ourselves too seriously, and are very supportive.
Richard Hall is the senior instructor and has taught for over 40 years domestically and internationally. Give him a call on 027 455 0888 or email nzrichardh@gmail.com

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
