Coming up this weekend at Riversdale - Gala Opening of the Riversdale 45th Mixed Media Exhibition - includes special installation created by Janet de Wagt and Jude Taylor.
3 Extreme Cakes - art like you've never seen before. Artworks on display from 80 established New Zealand artists - something for everyone. Edible artistry event on Saturday 21st includes cake auction and speaker Dennis Kirkpatrick of Jimmy's Pies fame.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
