Is it right to dump culled calves?
3000 calves that were culled in an attempt to control cattle disease Mycoplasma bovis have been dumped in a Winton landfill.
At a parliamentary select committee hearing on Tuesday, Clutha-Southland MP Hamish Walker questioned Agriculture Minister Damien O'Connor and ministry officials on the merits of the decision.
