A book lovers legacy
A Southland man's final gift to the community is his love of books.
Members of Freemasons Lodge St John no 94 are busy stacking books and setting up trestle tables for the second part of a book sale from a private collection that was donated in 2016.
The first book sale, hosted by the lodge, was in October 2016.
Not long after the sale, the benefactor, a older man from Southland, died in hospital.
