Southlanders clean up after freedom campers who used a beach as a toilet
A Southland man is repulsed by freedom campers who used a beach in Orepuki as a toilet.
Shane Wilson said he was celebrating his birthday with family and friends at Monkey Island beach near the changing sheds on Orepuki Drive on Saturday.
He shared the beach with about twenty other people that he said were freedom camping in three caravans.
