Should children get out in the garden more?
Green fingered children have given Winton's Community Garden another boost planting an array of fruits and vegetables which they will nurture into the future.
St Thomas Aquinas and Winton School students have been allocated a raised bed, at the garden's new site, and have been planting, watering and tending their plants ever since.
Winton Mitre 10 supplied the plants and now the gardens are bursting with new life.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
