What is double glazing?
Double glazing is two separate panes of glass jioned together by a spacer in the middle and glued together with a sealer to create a complete sealed unit, this creates an air gap in between the 2 panes of glass making the unit insulated, you can also have a thermal spacer bar in between the unit that reduces any cold coming in from the side of the unit.double glazing can be made in various thickness ,depending on the thickness of glass used and thickness of the spacer, the most common being 19 -20 mm,.also many different options available with the glass.
Double glazing provides better insulation for your windows, reduces power consumption, warmer in winter and cozier in summer, it also reduces noise by damping sound waves.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
