Has anyone noticed how scarce houseflies have been this summer? Usually they are all through the house and crawling over everything, but I haven't seen any more than half a dozen indoors at once. Maybe I shouldn't hold my breath...they may invade me yet.

A lack of rain, wind, consistently high temperatures and increasing demand for water is behind the falling levels.
Tasman District Council dry weather task force convener Dennis Bush-King on Wednesday said that with no meaningful rain relief expected, water restrictions would be extended from stage one to stage two, effective from Monday.
Stage two restrictions, a cut of 35 per cent in permitted allocations, would apply in the Upper Catchment, Reservoir, Waimea West, Delta, Golden Hills, and the Upper Confined Aquifer zones on the Waimea Plains.

The scam is a horrible one, demanding money as the scammer has hacked your computer, and used your camera to film you (or a member of your family) doing a sexual activity. IT IS A SCAM and nothing to worry about!
WHAT TO DO IF YOU’VE BEEN AFFECTED:
• Do not respond or send any payments to the scammer.
•If the body of the email also shows one of your email passwords, immediately change your password on any online email accounts that you think may have been breached. The website ‘Have I Been Pwned?’ contains details about a number of large data breaches. You can visit the site to check if your email address is listed as being affected by any of the breaches included on the site. If your email address is listed, make sure you update your password on any of the affected sites.
• Delete the scam email and mark it as spam so that your email filter removes it from your inbox.
• Consider setting up different password variations for each online email account – this means going forward that even if one account is breached, no other account should be affected.
