Accommodation is in a fully furnished, modern and comfortable independent apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and simply stunning views over the Waimea Inlet.
The apartment is offered rent-free in return for help with housework, cleaning, ironing, lawn mowing, and caring for our large friendly dog – sometimes at weekends. Electricity, gas and unlimited fast internet are included.
A genuine love and experience of dogs is vital.
The position would suit a fit and energetic person who would appreciate the beautiful and tranquil setting. Flexibility is critical, so the position would be best suited to someone retired or without other employment commitments.
There are extensive gardens with direct access to the Inlet - perfect for a keen kayaker. There is a swimming pool and sauna to enjoy.
The apartment has been let as a B&B in the past. Google: Applewood Mapua – you will find it on Booking.com and AirB&B. More recently it has been let on a permanent basis for $595 per week. Although probably more suited to a single person, a couple could be considered.

Apparently he is a very classy act. Apart from jokingly suggesting that the thousands of gypsies killed by the Nazis was a "good thing", he likes his rape alarm because it is a "good reminder". He then hilariously suggests that a better word than rape to describe a sexual attack would be to call it a "struggle cuddle". And there is more racist, sexist rubbish, lots more, in his stand up routines. All good "adult humour". Ho ho ho.
Why anyone would find his style of humour funny and pay good money to laugh at the objectionable hurtful filth he spouts beats me. He should be cancelled in my view, ideally from New Zealand in total, certainly from performing at a Nelson City Council owned venue.

Your workshop tutor Beth has perfected the art of dumpling making over many years and has also been selling her beautiful creations at the Motueka market. She will share her recipes with you and teach you how to prepare the dough, wrap the filling, and steam the dumplings. In this workshop, there will be two fillings to choose from shrimp or vegetarian.
There will be lots of sampling – ensure your dinner beforehand is not too filling.
Please note we will be working with standard white flour, so it is not suitable for anyone with gluten intolerance.
