Households urged to cut water use by half as Tasman district drought bites
Residents across a large chunk of drought-affected Tasman district are being asked to cut their water consumption by 50 per cent.
"If people could cut household use by half, that would be fantastic," Tasman District Council acting engineering services manager Dwayne Fletcher said on Monday as tougher water restrictions came into force. Read more
