Covid-19 UPDATE
Since we are staying at "Delta Level 2" for another two weeks, here's a reminder of what Volunteer Marlborough is doing:โ
๐ Our staff will continue working from home and our office will remain closed until Marlborough goes to Alert Level 1.โ
๐ You can still contact us (see below) and we are more than happy to book video call appointments.โ
๐ Our AGM has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 20th October.โ
๐ We are holding off on planning more Picton Connect events until we are closer to moving to Level 1.
๐ We will continue providing ongoing updates and sharing resources through our social media and website. โ

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, thereโs a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need ๐ช๐ฐ๐ช
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship โ like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
