Slashed tyres

Anne from Rangiora

On the afternoon of Saturday 8 May our vehicle was parked at the car park at the end of West Belt Rangiora, think it’s called Groyne 1 car park. We took our small grandson for a bike ride along the track where the trees have been removed. We arrived back to the vehicle half an hour later to find our two back tyres slashed. Whatever makes people do this. Lowlifes I think.
Tyres General from Amberley came to our rescue. Great people. Beware of parking your vehicles in any car parks around Rangiora especially in the weekends. Many people have had their windows smashed as well. Perhaps more police presence in the community might work.
